Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Sammy von Sanders is a gorgeous 2 year old shepherd mix. This spirited pup
with the amazing sable coat is looking for his leader. Sammy loves to get
out and see the world. He can get a bit excited by new experiences but is
very responsive on leash. More than anything else, Sammy just wants to make
you happy. He nuzzles up against you looking for affection and happily
takes all the up-and-down back scratches you care to give him. Sammy does
well around other dogs. He enters playgroups confidently and greets
everyone with a happy energy. Like many shepherds, his play style can be a
little rough for some, but he does listen to corrections and settles down.
Sammy looks up to his person and would love a home with someone who not only
has his best interest at heart, but is also willing to set boundaries and
teach him all the things he needs to know. We already know he's a pup with
a wonderful personality, but he so wants to be a dog with amazing skills as
well.
